Jason Byrd

BYRD, JASON Mr. Jason Robert Byrd age 40, of Kalamazoo, formerly of Coopersville, went to be with the Lord on Friday November 27, 2020. He will be deeply missed by Jessica Byrd; his children Madison Byrd and Dean Byrd; his siblings Chad (Melissa) Byrd, Allen (Erica) Byrd and Deanna (Edward) Cimoch; sister in law Mallorie (Charles) Dillman; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Jason was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Terry Byrd, and his Mamaw Eva Dean. He was a 1998 graduate of Coopersville High School and was a driver for Great Lakes Wine and Spirits and Paw Paw Wine Distributors for 18 years. He was a proud member of the Teamsters Union Local #1038. Jason spent time serving as a delegate for the Allegan County GOP. When he wasn't at work Jason's children were the most important part of his life. He deeply loved and was so proud of his two children Madison and Dean. The funeral service will be held Thursday December 3 at 11:00 AM at Berlin Baptist Church 14141 State St, Marne, MI 49435. His family will receive visitors Thursday morning at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Memorial contributions may be made toward his children's education.
