James William Woltersom, 69, of Cape Coral, Florida died Friday, May 15, 2020 at his home. Born March 26,1951 in Kalamazoo, MI to William and June Woltersom. Jim graduated from Calvin College, Grand Rapids, MI in English and Pre-Law. Jim earned his Masters Degree in Linguistics from the University of Michigan. He was Vice President of Corporate Facilities for TCF Bank, overseeing 60+ branches and constructed 26 new branches. Jim was a Commercial Real Estate Broker and Commercial Appraiser and Consultant for Reinhart Commercial and Terzo Bologna. Jim was a resident of Ann Arbor, MI until 2014 when he and his wife Judy moved to Cape Coral, Florida or as he called it "Paradise". Jim felt that a right relationship with God and his fellow man is essential to a full Life. As a young man he was very proud to be a member of Youth for Christ where he traveled across the United States. Jim loved to play golf, he dabbled in oil painting, adored his six grandchildren, and there never was a day that would go by without saying "I Love You Judith Delane". He never missed a home Michigan football game until he met Judy, but only one game. Yes, his blood was Michigan Blue. Jim is survived by his wife of 19 years, Judy (Zwirchitz-Uselding), Son Joshua Woltersom, Daughter Jordan (Rob) Wendt; Step-daughter Heather (Gregory) Rohm; Step-son Nathaniel (Lindsey) Uselding. six cherished grandchildren; Jackson, Charlie, Ryan Wendt; Addison Rohm, Alivia and Braylin Uselding. His Mother, June (Bruce) Klanderman; two Sisters, Patti (Douglas) Veenstra; Nancy (Dan) Kroeze; Mother-in-Law, Jane Zwirchitz; Brother-in-law, Ed (Lynn) Zwirchitz; Margaret (Ted) Roebuck and many more family and friends. He was preceded in death by his Father, William Woltersom. A virtual memorial is planned for: Monday, June 15 at 2:00 P.M.
