Will, James Francis Kalamazoo, MI James Francis Will, age 84, of Kalamazoo, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence. James was born in Chicago, IL on September 19, 1938, the son of Francis and Millicent (Molloy) Will. He attended Western Michigan University. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service, retiring after 41 years of service. He loved to race cars, including his favorite Aston Martin. He enjoyed bowling and won several trophies. Jim enjoyed fishing and spent many Fathers Days with his son fishing and in search of the "Bass as big as a loaf of bread". Most of all he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who enjoyed time spent with family. He was married to Marion "Lucy" Will on May 25, 1963. Lucy preceded him in death on June 26, 2016. James is survived by his son, Greg (Deb) Will; and three grandchildren, Chelsea, Jakob, and Phoebe Will. He was preceded in death by his parents Francis and Millicent Will. Friends may visit with the family from 6 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial and Cremation Services, 3926 S 9th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 30, 2022, at the funeral home. Pastor Don Barnes will officiate the service with interment to follow in Robinson Cemetery in Gobles at 11:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be given to Rose Arbor Hospice Residence.
