James Manion

Manion, Jr., James John James J. Manion, Jr., 58, of Kalamazoo passed away on March 2, 2021 at his home. He was born on April 2, 1962 in Kalamazoo, the son of John J. Manion, Sr. and Vivian (Hotrum) Manion. Jimmy loved to love. He will be forever remembered for having the biggest heart. His love for his animals, the gym, football, the gym, softball, the gym, his family, the gym, his friends, the gym… and the ladies was unmeasurable. He will be forever remembered for being a gentle giant, who would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He enjoyed meeting his Mother for their daily coffee and taking her on weekly shopping trips for their spoiled animals, and his beloved wax melts. Although he has had too many fur children throughout the years to mention them all, we cannot go without listing a few; Daisy, Dixie, Rocky, Debo, Rowdie, Cali, Baby Girl, Patches, & Elvis (the freezer bird). To all who were lucky enough to know Jimmy, you know what a great loss this is and how dearly he will be missed. Surviving are his mother, Vivian Manion; sister, Teresa Manion, nieces, Brittaney Manion, Baileigh Manion, Jasmine Huyck; and great nieces, Ava Manion, Alexa Manion and Kylie Pritchard. He was preceded in death by his father, James John Manion, Sr.; Cremation has taken place and no visitation or services are scheduled at this time.
