Jack Rantz, age 53, of Plainwell passed away on December 2, 2016 at his home. Jack was born on December 8, 1962 to Roger and Carol Sue Rantz. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, Dec. 10 from 2:00 to 5:00 at the Gun River Conservation Club. Jack’s family includes father Roger and his special friend Jo; children Andrew and Brody Rantz; sisters Debbie (Hank) Stone, Gaylene (Steve) Haslett, and Lauri (Bruce) Stone. He was preceded in death by his mother Carol Sue. Jack graduated from Plainwell High School in 1980 and attended GVSU for a year after. He was employed at Timber Ridge Ski Resort for several years.
