Jack O. Block

Jack Owen Block, age 80, passed away Friday, January 8, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Racine, May 13, 1935, son of the late Adolph and Eva (Nee:Hoffart) Block.

Jack graduated from Washington Park High School “Class of 1955”. He was employed by Don Hudson Auto Dealership in the Parts Dept from 1965 until his retirement in 1987. In his retirement Jack enjoyed traveling and showing his dogs at various dog shows. He was a member of the Racine Kennel Club and will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his sister, Margaret A. Block; cousins and many dear friends.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Wednesday, January 13, 2016, 1:30 P.M. with Reverend Allen Bratkowski officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet Wednesday 12:30 P.M. until time of service. Memorials to St. Edward’s Catholic Church or the Salvation Army have been suggested.
