In lieu of flowers we would like donations to be made to Hospice of Southwest Michigan or Rose Arbor. Our sincere thank you to Sherry Davis, who is with Hospice of Southwest Michigan. Also thank you to the nurses, aides and many others at Rose Arbor. Family visitation is Thursday evening from 5-8 p.m. at Third Reformed Church (use North entrance). Memorial Service will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Third Reformed Church (use South entrance.) A Naval veteran, he witnessed two atomic bomb tests. He trained in the Great Lakes, and was stationed in San Diego, CA. He was a carpenter by trade and used that skill to help others. His loves were his family and friends. A strong, loving and gentle man, he was a father to more than his own children. He enjoyed all of his friends and special memories that were made over the many years of camping. How he lived his life was an example to us all. Thank you God for this man, he will be greatly missed.
