Jack Followell

Jack Wayne Followell, age 80, of Flippin, AR passed away Sunday, October 4, 2015 in Yellville, AR. Jack was born August 16, 1935 in Morley, MO to Howard and Mabel (Riehn) Followell. Jack enjoyed hunting, spending time with his dogs and gardening. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Bull Shoals and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Jack married Priscilla Garnaat on July 9, 1983. Jack is survived by his wife, Priscilla (Garnaat) Followell of the home; two brothers, Bill (Anne) and Marvin (Betty) Followell, both of Kalamazoo, MI; two sisters, Joanne Kesterson (Paul) and Betty Goode, both of Cape Girardeau, MO; two grandsons; two great-grandsons and numerous nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Terry Wayne and Jackie Allen Followell; three brothers, Jerry, Howard and Mike and one sister, Mary. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Conner-Hankins Funeral Home & Cremation Center Chapel from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 8, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Bull Shoals, AR at 3:30 PM with Pastor Jerry Backus officiating. Visitation at Langeland Funeral Home, 622 South Burdick, Kalamazoo, MI 49007, will be Monday, October 12 from 4-8 PM. Funeral services at Langeland Funeral Home Chapel will be Tuesday, October 13 at 11 AM. Pallbearers will be Donald Goolsby, Jim, Larry and Harold Followell and Nathan and Jordan Garnaat. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Kalamazoo, MI with a luncheon following interment at Eastwood Fire Station in Kalamazoo.
