Life Story / Obituary
Irene V. Koter, age 90, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2015 with her loving family at her side. Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Louis in 1998. She is survived by her nieces and nephews: Michael and Mary Karczynski, Nancy and Robert Thorndill, Judith and Joseph McKeiver, Patricia Manni, Thomas Walendzik, Robert Walendzik, Richard Walendzik, Charles Mitchell, Bernard Siwicki, John Allen Karczynski; and many friends. Irene’s family would like to express their appreciation to Marywood Health Center and the Sisters for the loving, care shown to Irene during her time of care. The Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, July 24, 10:00 AM at the Basilica of St. Adalbert, 654 Davis St. NW, Grand Rapids, MI. Relatives and friends are invited to gather for visitation at the Heritage Life Story Funeral Home-Alt & Shawmut Hills Chapel, 2120 Lake Michigan Dr. NW on Thursday, July 23, 2-4 & 7-9 PM with a Rosary service at 7:00 PM.
