Ilah Farr

Died Saturday morning, September 24, 2011. Ilah was born August 1, 1946 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of Donald and Ilah (Border) Roberts. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with Charles Services for 4 years. Ilah was also a member of the Kalamazoo Covenant Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her former husband, James A. Snow Jr.; a brother, Ralph Shelly; and 2 infant daughters. Ilah is survived by 4 children, James Snow III, Lorie Snow, Kelley Snow and Tabitha Juarez all of Kalamazoo; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Gloria Harper of Detroit, MI, Emojene (Donald) Nelson of Kalamazoo, and Louisa (Richard) Peak of Alabama; a brother, Donald (Nancy) Roberts of Kalamazoo; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A private memorial service and burial will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes. Arrangements were made by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St.
