Campbell, Ila M. "Pete" Campbell of Kalamazoo, MI.

Age 94, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024, with family at her side. She was born in Luverne, AL, the daughter of the late Raymond and Maude (Wolfe) Ballard. On February 16, 1946, she married the love of her life Frank Campbell who preceded her in passing on August 12, 2002. She worked hard to provide a happy home for her family where all were made to feel welcome. She had a strong faith and was a member of 12th Street Baptist Church. Ila was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who leaves behind wonderful memories for her family to cherish. She is survived by her children, Roger (Deb) Campbell, Randy (Carol) Campbell, Craig (Lori) Campbell; five grandchildren, Courtney, Betheny, Rebecca, Jessica and Valerie, several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Suzie Watson and Jean Truax; brother-in-law, Bill (Elinor) Campbell, a special niece, Cindy Russell; close friend Sherry Goodrich; many other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, April 4, 2024, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by a graveside service at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park beginning at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Jim Dyke officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to Centrica Care Hospice, c/o the funeral home.
