Gallagher, Heather Heather Ann Booden Gallagher, 46, of Oceanview NJ passed away at Gettysburg, PA on Friday, December 30, 2022. She was born on July 15,1976 in Sheldon Iowa, but Kalamazoo was her home. She graduated from Kalamazoo Christian High School and worked for Peter Kiewit Sons Construction company where she met and fell in love with her husband Thomas Gallagher. They settled in Wildwood Crest NJ and had three beautiful sons whom she worshipped. Heather worked for the NJ Department of Transportation during her children's younger years and worked at the Harborview Restaurant in Cape May where she established many longtime friendships. She later went on to return to the construction industry which became her passion, inspecting the paving of various highways throughout Southern New Jersey. Heather was never one to sit still. She created a successful food blogging website, Who Needs a Cape with her good friend Lori Vachon. Heather was an ardent supporter of all people's rights and freedoms. She was recently selected to be the vice president of the webelong.cmc group which supports the LGBTQ+ community and its allies. She was very proud of her 100% Dutch heritage and loved to perform genealogical research. Survivors include husband, Thomas Gallagher, sons, Benjamin, Henry, and Samuel, her brother Chad Booden and wife Kelley, her sister Amanda Miller and husband Matt, Brother-in-law, Matt Gallagher & wife Kim, Sister-in-Law Susan Phillps, her parents Paul and Marjorie Booden, her grandmother Marian VanderMeer Razenberg, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and their spouses, who she loved deeply, the extended Tom & Heather Gallagher Construction Family, the Webelong Group, her second family the Kaup/Kogler's, and the many friends and extended family too numerous to name. Heather was preceded in death by her grandparents Marinas and Ann Booden, her grandfather William VanderMeer, her mother-in-law Susan Gallagher and her beloved uncle John Booden and her beloved aunt Marilyn Booden Denooyer. A viewing will be held Friday, January 13th from 11am-12pm, followed by a 12pm service at the George H. Wimberg Funeral Home, 1707 New Road, Linwood, NJ 08221. A celebration of Heather's life will be celebrated on Saturday, January 21st beginning at 11am at the Heritage Christian Reform Church, 2857 S. 11th Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49009. Memorial contributions may be given to We Belong at webelong.cmc or the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission, 448 N. Burdick St., Kalazmazoo, MI 49007. Arrangements by the George H.
