Harry Stowe

Harry Robert Stowe, age 75, of Kalamazoo, MI After a courageous battle with cancer, Harry passed away peacefully at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence in Kalamazoo. Harry was born and raised in Midland, Michigan and graduated from Midland High School. He attended the University of Michigan and served in the United States Navy. He was one of four children born to the late Stephen and Janette Stowe, and was the beloved husband to the late Jammie Stowe. Harry's favorite past time was studying scripture. He also enjoyed playing music and golf. He took special pride in his business as an independent insurance agent and touched the lives of many people. He will be remembered for his honesty, integrity, constant smile, corny jokes, and special sense of humor. He always said that if his life were any more blessed, he would have to be twins. Harry will be forever cherished by his brothers Keith and Dennis Stowe, his beloved daughters Ruth and Stephanie, his grandchildren, Michael, Megan, and Kody, as well as his stepchildren, Gertie, Jackie, Henry, Norman, Tommy, Melvin, and their families. Family and friends are invited to attend an open house celebration of Harry's life on Friday, September 2nd, from 6-8pm at the First Assembly of God Church, located at 5550 Oakland Dr. Portage, MI.
