Fuhrman, Gloria
nee Gesler of Schoolcraft, MI passed away peacefully at home Friday, April 29, 2022. Gloria was born in Kalamazoo in 1942. Gloria lived in Portage during her childhood. She lived in Kalamazoo before moving to the Schoolcraft/Lawton area in 1978. She enjoyed spending winters at her home in Holiday, FL. Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Fuhrman; son George Fuhrman; parents Lela and Darrel King; and siblings Delores Manchester, Lt. Col. Donald King, Laura Darlene Eastling, Sandra Vanas, and David King. Gloria is survived by her daughters, Kim McClimans of Grand Rapids, MI and Ranae Thomas (Travis) of Indianapolis, IN; her grandchildren, Veronica McClimans, Chandler Thomas, Branden Thomas, and Devin Thomas; sisters Angela Karch (Greg), Ella Curtis, Rosemary King (Bruce), and Alice King; life-long best friend Norma Dozeman and family, many cousins, and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass to honor her memory will be Monday, June 5, 2023 at St. Catherine of Siena at 11:00 AM. A luncheon will immediately follow at 12:00 PM. Burial at 2:00 PM at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
