Surrounded by his loving family, Glen A. Kurhajec, age 76, passed away Monday, April 18, 2016 at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Medical Center. Glen was born in Racine, December 11, 1939, son of the late Emil and Marjorie (Nee: Sands) Kurhajec, and was a graduate of St. Catherine's High School "Class of 1957".

On April 27, 1963 at St. Rita Catholic Church he was united in marriage to the love of his life Constance J. Lipari. Glen was employed by American Motors/Chrysler as a supervisor for thirty years, retiring in 1987. He was a longtime member of St. Rita Catholic Church and Roma Lodge. Glen took great pride in his yardwork and tending to his garden. Glen proved to be a great source of advice and encouragement for his children and grandchildren whom he loved unconditionally. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather who will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his loving wife of nearly fifty-three years, Connie; his children, Elaina (Thomas) Janikian, Michael (Kimberly) Kurhajec; his grandchildren, Emily and Elyse Janikian, Maxwell, Samuel, Alexandria, Benjamin and Chloe Kurhajec; brother, Ronald (Sally) Kurhajec; sister, Diane (Peter) Crisp; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Dominic Lipari, Anthony (Olivia) Lipari; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Alberta Lipari, Mary (Frank) Rizzo, Sarah (Rocco) DeRose.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, April 22, 2016, 12:00 P.M. at St. Rita Catholic Church, 4339 Douglas Avenue. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. (Roma Lodge Service at 11:45 A.M.)
