Gladys Lillian Brennan

Brennan, Gladys Lillian Kalamazoo Passed away Tuesday morning, April 18, 2023. Lillian was born August 11, 1926, in Ewing, VA the daughter of Jasper and Margaret (Minton) Friar. She was a long-time member of the Comstock Church of Christ where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School. Lillian was active with Girl Scouts and has a large collection of salt and pepper shakers. She also enjoyed gardening and canning; and was known for sending out cards for family and friends' special celebrations. On June 7, 1959 Lillian was united in marriage to her loving husband Wayne Brennan, who preceded her in death on August 29, 2000. She was also preceded in death by 3 sisters; a brother; and a niece and nephew. She is survived by her children, Wayne Jr. (Michelle) Brennan, Millie Pankow, Ervin (Deb) Brennan; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may meet the family from 12:00-1:00pm on Monday, April 24 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, 622 S. Burdick, Kalamazoo, MI 49007 where funeral services will follow at 1:00pm with Minister Scott Burdick officiating. Entombment will follow at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South.
