Gerald Peloquin

PELOQUIN - Gerald T. Peloquin, aged 71, of Jenison, went to be with his Lord on Monday, March 2, 2009. He faithfully served his country in the US Navy for five years serving on the USS Wasp and USS Ticonderoga. Gerald worked for the US Post Office for 40 years and the Grand Rapids Press for 43 years. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Larry Peloquin and Graham Peloquin. Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Janet (Raak); his children, Sheryle and Bill DePirro, Kip and Diane Felker, Richard and Michelle Felker, Joel and Chom Sun Peloquin, Jill and Jim Stoddard, Judi and Dan DeVries; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Terry and Shirley Raak. Funeral services will be held Friday 11:00 a.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville), 4145 Chicago Drive. Interment Hanley Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Heartland Hospice.
