Gerald Bosch

Age 75, passed away on Tuesday morning, February 18, 2020 following a brief illness. Gerald was born on January 11, 1945 in the Hellendoorn/Overijssel area of the Netherlands, the son of Peter and Ali Bosch. He owned and operated Gerald Bosch Associates as a concrete contractor for nearly 50 years in the Kalamazoo area. He was known for his honest work ethic, the love of his family and his extensive collection of records and albums. Gerald loved to be home, and to be surrounded by his friends and his family, whom he loved dearly. On January 6, 1989, he married Patti and they most recently celebrated 31 years of marriage. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Henrietta VanderSluis, Susan Doll and Mary Bosch. He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Patti, children James (Lisa) Bosch; Rebecca Bosch; Douglas (Emily) Bosch, Tom (Theresa) Drouillard, David (Ana) Drouillard, Julie (Shenork) Souin, his grandchildren, Courtney, Allison (Travis) Kapcia, Olivia, Cade, Dallas, Brody and Auden Bosch, Emily Drouillard, Kaitlyn Drouillard, Patrick Drouillard, Nicholas (Susan) Souin, Conner Souin, Elizabeth Souin, as well as his brothers, Gerrit (Ruth) Bosch, John Bosch. In accordance with his wishes, cremation will take place and the family will greet friends for visitation on Saturday, February 22, 2020 beginning at 1:00 p.m., with a memorial service to take place immediately following, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with Msgr. Michael Hazard officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Gerald's memory to St. Vincent DePaul or Kalamazoo Deacons Conference, c/o the funeral home.
