George Noel LaBonte, 88, of Clearwater, Florida, passed away on August 29, 2023. He was born on May 9, 1935, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to the late Russell and Pauline LaBonte.
George was a beloved husband to Frances (Kronser) LaBonte and a devoted father to his children Gerald (Ann) LaBonte, Valerie (Mike) Seaver, Annette (Jeff) Sorensen, and Russ LaBonte. He was also a cherished grandfather to Jason, Jamie (Avery), Jackie (Alex), Jessica (Eric), Brittany (Matthew), Justin, and Samantha, and a loving great-grandfather to Ruby, Franklin, Aurora, and Belle. George was preceded in death by his siblings, Linelle LaBonte and James LaBonte.
After graduating from Appleton High School in the Class of 1953, George embarked on a successful career. He dedicated 41 years of his life to Asten Forming Fabrics before retiring in 1994 in Appleton, Wisconsin. George's hard work and dedication made a lasting impact on the company.
In his free time, George enjoyed various hobbies including golfing, fishing, and bowling. He spent 20 wonderful years at Klines Resort in Michigan, indulging in his favorite pastimes.
George's life was also enriched by his faith. He found solace and guidance at St. Catherine of Siena, where he worshipped.
A memorial service to celebrate George's life will be held at Bay Aristocrat in Clearwater, Florida, on November 11, 2023, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Family, friends, and all who knew George are invited to attend and pay their respects.
George Noel LaBonte will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love, dedication, and joyful pursuits will be cherished forever.
