Gaye Schurr

Died Wednesday morning June 10, 2020. Gaye was born February 1, 1935 in South Haven, Michigan a daughter of Neil and Audrey (Wilmont) Mort. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident since 1960 and was employed with James River Corporation for 15 years, before retiring. Gaye was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Donald D. Schurr on March 22, 2002; an infant son, Thomas Neil Schurr in 1955; 2 brothers, Richard and Robert Mort; and a sister, Juanda Swain. She is survived by 3 sons, David (Cheryl) Schurr of Richland, Jon Schurr of Kalamazoo, and Daniel (Laurie) Schurr of Kalamazoo; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be open to family and friends 3 o'clock Tuesday, June 23rd in Lakeview Cemetery, South Haven, MI. Visitation by invitation from the family will be held at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 622 S Burdick St, Kalamazoo, MI 49007.
