Frances Billington

Frances E. Billington of Fulton, MI passed away on Monday morning, October 10, 2016 at the age of 86. She was born on May 18, 1930 in Kalamazoo MI a daughter of the late Charles and Patience (McCleary) Hodges. Frances worked for many years as a nurse at Bronson Hospital and then as a home care nurse. She was a loyal member of the Chapman Memorial Church of the Nazarene. On March 27, 1948 Frances married Oral James Billington who preceded her in death on June 25, 2015. She was also preceded in death by three siblings. Frances is survived by two children, Oral James Billington, Jr. of Green Bay, WI and Patience "Pat" & Dean Pike of Fulton, MI; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 10-11AM on Saturday, October 15th at the Chapman Memorial Church of the Nazarene, 7520 East U Avenue, Vicksburg, MI 49097, where services will begin at 11AM, with Pastor Dave Downs, officiating. Burial in Mount Ever-Rest Memorial Park, South will follow the service. The family requests that guests dress in casual clothing for the services. Memorial contributions may be directed to Nazarene Compassionate Ministries, the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission or The Salvation Army.
