Frances B. Champion

Champion, Frances B. 1/30/1929 - 7/2/2020 Gobles Passed away Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. Frances was born January 30, 1929 in Glendale, the daughter of the late Harm and Janetta Wesseling and had lived in Gobles the past 67 years. Frances retired from Western Michigan University after serving 25 years in the mail room. She enjoyed crafts, sewing and spending time with her family. Surviving are her children, Robert and Denise Champion, Denise and David Kosiara, Jayne Champion, Diann and Ronald Rose; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; step sister Suzanne Hall; 2 sisters in laws, Carolyn Wesseling and Pat Wesseling. She was preceded in death by her husband Douglas who passed on April 29, 2016, her 3 brothers and a sister. The family will meet friends on Tuesday from 5 - 7 PM at the Gobles Chapel, D. L. Miller Funeral Home, www.dlmillerfuneralhome.com. Due to current restrictions, attendance will be limited to 10 people inside funeral home at any time with face masks and social distance practices in place. Private Interment will take place at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.
