Forrest “Jake” Blackburn, age 92, of Holland, died Sunday, August 16, 2009, at Holland Hospital.
Surviving are his wife of 70 years, Irene Blackburn; children, Larry and Marilyn Blackburn, Don and Bonnie Blackburn, Gloria Pelon, Karen and Paul Kleis, Jack and Karen Blackburn, and Bill and Rose Blackburn; 16 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sister, Helen Nance.
At his request, cremation will take place. No visitation or services are scheduled.
A private family gathering has been planned.
Memorial can be made to Hospice of Holland.
