Mr. Floyd J. Riegling, age 90, of Grand Rapids, was welcomed home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday morning, August 17, 2007. Mr. Riegling met his wife, the former Adeline Block, on a blind date following a church service. Mr. Riegling was led to the Lord by Gill VanSluys when he was about 30 years of age. On August 27, of 2007, he and his wife would have been married 70 years. Mr. Riegling is survived by his wife, Adeline; their children, Floyd E. and Carol Riegling of Rockford, John and Celia Riegling of Traverse City, Lynne and Roger VanderZouwen of Allendale, Marianne and James Loveland of Allendale, James and Deborah Riegling of Franklin, WI; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; his sisters, Mrs. Maxine Disbrow of Sun City, FL, Mrs. Doris Reber of Belmont, and Mary Jane Riegling of Grand Rapids; and nieces and nephews.
