Floyd Brown

Passed away peacefully with his family at his side, April 7, 2016. He was born on June 2, 1953 in Grand Rapids the son of the late Lloyd and Mildred (Seamon) Brown. Floyd had the “gift of gab”, he loved any kind of fishing, especially loved teaching kids to fish and loved his “fur babies” Maxie and Toshi. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers. Floyd is survived by his wife Brenda; daughters, Chrystal (Andy VanderWeide Jr.) Holdren of Grand Rapids, and Nicole (Gerald) Jones of Grand Rapids and Kimberly (Robert) Holdren, Jr. of Marne; grandchildren, Elianna and Andrew. Also surviving are his siblings, Stella (Michael) Boyd of Lynfield, AZ, Bonnie Passage of Grand Rapids, and Lonnie Brown of Grand Rapids; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 12th at 6:30 PM at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home, Alt & Shawmut Chapel 2120 Lake Michigan Drive NW. Visiting will be held from 5:30-6:30 PM.
