Florence Martin

Martin, Florence 4/19/1928 - 3/28/2019 Bloomingdale Passed away March 28, 2019 in Allegan. Florence was born April 19, 1928, the daughter of Arthur and Mabel Goodrich. Florence had lived in the Grand Junction area for many years before moving to Bloomingdale in 1956. She was a 1946 graduate of Bloomingdale High School and had worked for Dickerson Greenhouses for many years. She was a longtime member of the Grand Junction Congregational Church. Surviving are her husband, Reed Martin; children, Linda (Nelson Showers) Augustyniak, George (Linda) Clark, Jill (Glen) Gibson, Jo (Joe) Aernie, Jack (Barb) Clark, Jim (Melissa) Clark, Joy Blanchard; 18 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; sister, Donna (Doug) Fleck; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Clark; a son, John; and four grandsons. The family will meet friends Sunday, March 31, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Bloomingdale Chapel, D. L. Miller Funeral Home, www.dlmillerfuneralhome.com, where funeral services will be Monday at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Grand Junction Cemetery.
