Eugene Dykstra age 72 of Holland died Thursday, March 22, 2007.
Eugene was born in Holland, graduated from Holland High School in 1953, and Michigan State University with a BA degree in Business. He owned and operated Executive Search Firm in Holland until his retirement in 2006. Eugene was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church and served in the United States Marines. He was preceded in death by his wife Glenda in 2006.
Surviving are his fiancée-Pat Seif of Holland; children-Jackie and David Mack of Evanston, IL, Thomas and Phyllis Dykstra of Zeeland, David and Gretchen Dykstra of Minneapolis, MN, Mickey and Tom Perpich of Traverse City, Kathy Adams of Zeeland, and Lisa Baldiga of Fennville; 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; sister-Donna Mokma of Holland; nephews nieces, and cousins. Services will be 11 am Monday at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 480 N. 152nd Ave., with the Rev. Phillip Nguyen officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery. Visiting will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Holland. Arrangements are by the Northwood Chapel-Dykstra Life Story Funeral Home.
