Esther Alice Post, passed away Tuesday morning, February 25, 2025, in Kalamazoo. She was born August 26, 1934, in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Jacob and Maude (Izenbaard) Cramer. Esther was a graduate of Comstock High School. Esther met her dear husband, Richard "Rich" Post through family and friends and they were married on May 29, 1976. Rich and Esther were members of the Comstock Christian Reformed Church for many years, and in 2014 became members of the 2nd Christian Reformed Church in Kalamazoo. Esther was very involved at the church. For 30 years, Esther was an administrative assistant at Upjohn Company. In later years, she was a volunteer at Second Impressions. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, and camping with Rich and their dear friends. She also enjoyed knitting and reading and drawing. Esther loved music and played the piano beautifully. She adored children and was a favorite aunt. Esther was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard Post, and her siblings: Ralph Cramer, John Cramer, Alice Cramer, Leone Cramer, and Harold Cramer. She is survived by her step-daughters: Kimberly (Frank "Mike") Balles, Sandra Lee, and Barbara (Robert) Becker; step-grandchildren: Matthew (Taylor) Balles, Jamie (Chris) Blane, Jeffrey (Rebecca) Lee, Joshua (Sonia) Becker, Jaclynn Becker, and Jonathan (Jessica) Becker; her great-grandchildren, Bryleigh, Max, Zoey, Declan, Mia, Luca, Sophie, Maezie, Aria, Adrian, Landon; brother-in-law, Robert Post; many nieces, nephews, and cousins, and Kelly Farris, who was such a loving and caring caregiver over the last several years. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 19th, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial and Cremation Services, 3926 South 9th St., Kalamazoo, MI 49009, where Esther's family will receive guests beginning at 10:00 AM and after the service, during a light lunch.
