Eric Raifsnider

Raifsnider, Eric 3/29/1954 - 12/9/2016 Kalamazoo Eric, 62, passed away Friday, December 9, 2016 at University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor following a battle with lung disease. Born in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Eric made his life in southwest Michigan, living in various places around Kalamazoo and Portage. He attended Portage Central High School, after which he was employed at Mead Company for 25 years as a maintenance technician until he obtained a job with Bowers Manufacturing. Eric loved Gordon Setter dogs and had a passion for bird hunting. He enjoyed training and working his dogs in the field. Eric also had a love for Amateur Radio and held an Extra Class Amateur Radio license. Predeceased by Frank and Shirley Raifsnider, he is survived by his four children Elizabeth, Emily, Eric, and Erron as well as 8 grandchildren. A funeral service will be held in spring.
