Eloise Foss

Eloise Agnes Foss, age 96, passed away on April 17, 2020 at Borgess Place. Eloise was born on November 6, 1923 in Hickory Corners, the daughter of Ernest and Margaret (Trick) Foss. Eloise was a 1943 graduate of Delton High School and later was employed as a bookkeeper at Fifth Third Bank for many years. Eloise was a devoted member of Spring Valley Church. She loved her family, nature, flowers and working on puzzles. Eloise will be remembered for her old fashioned values and big smile. Eloise is survived by special nieces and nephews: Joe (Lynn) Foss and Steve Foss; brother: Lyle (Rosa) Foss; and several nieces and nephews. Eloise was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Ronald Foss, Donald Foss, Wesley Foss, Carl Foss, and Robert Foss; and special cousin: Margaret Greer. Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, a memorial celebration for Eloise will be scheduled at a future date. Private burial has taken place in East Hickory Corners Cemetery.
