Obituary
In Loving Memory of Elliott Social Curtis, born on November 27, 1944, to Gerald and Dorothy (Soto) Curtis. A proud and dedicated worker, he spent 33 years with General Motors, where his strong work ethic and steady character earned the respect of all who knew him.
On September 23, 1978, he married the love of his life, Bertha "Bert" Rodgers. Together they shared 40 wonderful years filled with love, laughter, and family.
Elliott found joy in life's simple pleasures - gardening, yard work, fishing, camping, cards (especially euchre) and helping anyone in need. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family. His quiet strength, kindness, and sense of humor made him the heart of his family and a friend to many.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bert; his parents, Gerald and Dorothy; his grandson, Skyler; and his son-in-law, Patrick.
He is survived by his children, Amy Baker, Andy (Brandi) Curtis, Connie (Ron) Nedeau, and Scott Browne; his brothers, Gerald (Jane) Curtis, Harold (Sandy) Curtis; and his sisters, Dorothy Forshey, Michele Bradley, and Betsy Hoffmann. He will be deeply missed by his two beloved granddaughters, Desiree' Sparks and Vanessa Browne, who lovingly cared for him, as well as by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
If you knew him, you loved him. Elliott had a gentle, loving soul that touched everyone around him - and his warmth will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
