Elizabeth Sinkula

Elizabeth (Betty) Sinkula passed away on Monday, May 28th. She was born Elizabeth Frances Fincher on January 12, 1940 in Muncie, IN. Betty worked at the The Upjohn Company later known as Pfizer in the chemical materials management division. After retiring in 2000, she was a pharmacist at several local pharmacies. She is survived by her two children, Chris (Linda) Sinkula of Palm City, FL and Sarah (Phil) Moleski of Hastings, MI. Betty was blessed with four wonderful grandchildren Keith, Olivia, Steven and Nolan. All of whom were the lights of her life. She is also survived by her sister, Shirley and her nephew Greg. Betty had many friends in all facets of her life. She was able to laugh and make anyone feel special. Betty was always supportive to family and friends. She loved playing tennis play and enjoyed following many other sports. She will be missed by many in the local Kalamazoo area especially her close friend, Dora Weir as well as her southern "Ole Miss" friends and the entire Sinkula family who loved her very much. A memorial service to celebrate Betty's life will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, June 9th at the Langeland Family Funeral Home, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street, Kalamazoo. Immediately following the service friends are invited to join the family to share stories and have refreshments from 2:00 to 4:00PM in the Langeland Family Center.
