Eldon Nidy

Nidy, Eldon G. Schoolcraft Passed away Sunday afternoon, January 24, 2021 at his home. Eldon was born December 9, 1939 in Kalamazoo the son of George and Clara (Hoskin) Nidy. He earned a Bachelor's Degree from Western Michigan University and worked for 32 years as a chemist with the Upjohn Company prior to his retirement. Eldon mostly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren along with fishing, woodworking, and gardening. On August 24, 1963 he was united in marriage to his loving wife Dorothy (Niles) who survives. Also surviving is his daughter, Theresa (Ken) Germain; grandsons, Casey and Cameron Germain; and several nieces and nephews. Eldon was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Angela; and his sister, Jeannine Hedges. Private graveside services were held in Genessee Prairie Cemetery.
