Elaine was born in Kalamazoo on April 25, 1931, the daughter of the late Peter and Ida (Phillips) Schrier. Elaine was an extremely easy-going person and had a great sense of humor. This past May 19th, she celebrated her 70th wedding anniversary with her husband, William "Bill" N. Wahl, who survives. Elaine is also survived by her children, Randy (Jackie) Wahl, Julie (Jeff) Kish and Mark (Wendi) Wahl; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her sister, Norma Martin. In accordance with her wish, cremation will take place and a private family service will be held.
