Duane Allen Stuut, age 71, Three Rivers, MI passed away on Saturday. He passed away due to an Aortic Aneurysm resulting from High Blood Pressure. Duane was born in Kalamazoo, Mi on August 2, 1948. He attended Portage Schools and graduated High School in 1966. He attended some college at KVCC Community College. He went into the Military and joined the Navy for a year and then transferred to the Army National Guard and served his country for 5 more years. He enjoyed playing cards, reading, golfing, tennis, running in his early years and most importantly hanging out with his family. He was able to build his own house and enjoyed building many other woodworking projects. For the last several years Duane and Peggy enjoyed splitting their time between Alabama and Michigan. Alabama was to avoid the snow and cold weather. They had a place to stay in both locations and a great group of friends in both locations as well. Sitting on the deck with his wife and talking to people while enjoying the warm weather and sunshine was the way Dad preferred to spend his days. Duane is preceded in Death by his parents John Jr. and Annetta Stuut. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Peggy Stuut, His Brother Dave Stuut, Brother Dan and wife Kathy Stuut, his son Paul and wife Candy Stuut and his other son Jon and wife Leslee Stuut, his grandchildren Casie Stuut, Tyler Stuut, Kyle Stuut, Amanda Burwell, Samantha Warner, his Great Grandchildren Avery and Miles Burwell and Grady Warner, his nephew Matt and wife Jess Stuut, niece Sara Stuut and Great Niece Carmen Stuut. A visitation will be held in memorial of Duane Stuut on Saturday December 14th, 2019 from 3-5 pm at Langeland Family Funeral Home. 411 E Centre Ave. Portage, Mi. 49002. Duane was a caring and very kind person. He was the first to offer help to someone if he was able. He helped many people with their projects from minor repairs to building decks to remodeling full rooms. He would offer anything he could to help someone in their time of need. He was a good man. Duane most enjoyed the travel and time with his wife Peggy. They had many great adventures together over the 49 years they were together. Duane loved his family and friends very much and he will be missed. Langeland Family Funeral Home. 411 E Centre Ave. Portage, Mi 49002
