Douglas C. Souter of Grand Rapids, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 28 at the family cottage on Stony Lake. He was born January 18, 1952. Doug is survived by his wife, Karen; children, Amber E. Souter and Spc. Christopher C. Souter; parents, William (Bill) and Claire C. Souter; sister, Elizabeth C. (Daniel) Brouwer; father-in-law and mother-in-law, JC and Dorothy Millard; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation is 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 4 at Community of Christ, 4875 Palenque Pl. NE, Grand Rapids. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday 11:00 a.m. May 5 at Community of Christ.
