Hamilton, Douglas 10/20/1964 - 3/8/2023 Kalamazoo Douglas Andrew Hamilton, 58 of Kalamazoo, passed away at home on March 8, 2023. He was born on October 20, 1964 in Kalamazoo to Ramon and Nancy (Moore) Hamilton. Doug earned an associate degree in journalism from Kalamazoo Valley Community College. He spent his career as a musician and enjoyed creating and playing music. He also worked in music journalism as a rock critic. Doug is survived by his mother Nancy Hamilton; sister Deborah (Chris) Radcliffe; uncle and aunt Eldon and Carol Hamilton; cousins Diane (Steve) Gleaseman and David Hamilton; and second cousins Halley, Fred, Lydia, and Rachel. Funeral services will be held at Langeland Family Funeral Homes 622 S. Burdick St. Kalamazoo, MI 49007 on Friday, March 17, 2023. A visitation will take place from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, the funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm, and a graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South.
