Dorothy Watson

Watson, Dorothy L. Plainwell, MI After a peaceful passing at her Lake Doster home, Dot went to be with her loving Lord on Friday, April 10, 2020. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gene, whom she married on March 30, 1946. The couple enjoyed nearly 70 years of marriage together. They proudly raised three sons, Douglas (Sharon) Watson, Kenneth (Gail) Watson and Dennis (Liz) Watson. Dot cherished her six grandchildren, Lori Layman, Jason (Gina) Watson, Scott (Tonia) Watson, Rick Watson, Jessy (Chad) Doxtator and Jenny (Jeff) Doychich along with eleven great-grandchildren. Dot was a long-time member of the First Congregational Church of Otsego. She actively served on the prayer team, hospitality team, and care and compassion team. She will always be remembered for her famous peanut brittle that she shared with so many. She loved her life traveling with Gene, golfing and playing cards. A private family graveside service will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Plainwell on Tuesday, April 14, 2020. A celebration of Dot's life will be held at a later time.
