Dorothy M. Soens, age 95, passed away Tuesday November 17, 2015 after a brief illness. She was born in Racine on February 2, 1920, daughter of the late Henry and Adelaide (Nee: Yanny) Oberst.
She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Bernadette Soens of Prospect Heights, IL; son, Tom (Patti) Soens of Portland, OR; grandchildren, Brannon and Anna Soens; cherished friend, Tom Cassidy and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Norbert, beloved grandson, Gavin Soens and sister, Bernadette Becker.
Relatives and friends may meet with the family in the Chapel of San Camillo, 10200 W. Bluemound Road, Wauwatosa, WI, on Monday, December 7, 2015 from 9:30 A.M. until time 11:00 A.M. A Memorial Mass will follow at 11:00 A.M. celebrating Dorothy’s life. Memorials to honor Dorothy’s memory may be made to the Pallattine Fathers, 5424 W Bluemound Rd, Milwaukee, WI 53208 or to the charity of your choice and by conveying an act of kindness to a stranger.
