Hall, Dorothy M. Kalamazoo Dorothy Marguerite Hall, age 100 of Kalamazoo, passed away on October 9, 2021. Dorothy was born on December 22, 1920 in Kalamazoo to Lyman and Ethel (McDonald) Morrisson. On May 30, 1941, she married the love of her life, Raymond C. Hall. She worked at Allen Electric for four years before retiring in 1976. Following her retirement, she enjoyed working at Kmart in Kalamazoo for many years where she made many friends. She was a member of the VFW Post #422 and the Lunch Bunch at the Faith United Methodist Church in Delton. She was a very independent woman and enjoyed bowling, bingo, crocheting and knitting. She also was fond of traveling, especially to Okinawa to visit her family. Dorothy is survived by her family, including sons: Raymond (Kathryn) Hall, Claude (Keiko) Hall; daughters: Alice (Martin) Church, Zelma Hall; many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, in 1972; sister, Louise Morrisson, in 1980; sisters-in-law: Irene Fitzgerald, Dorothy Meier. A graveside service for Dorothy will be held on Wednesday, October 13 at 11:00 A.M. at Prairieville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the VFW Post #422 Auxillary.
