Dorothy Bisig

Dorothy M. Bisig, age 90, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away November 10, 2016 after a long illness. Dorothy was born March 2,1926 in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of the late Angelo and Mamie Lombarde. She and her husband of 55 years, John Bisig, moved to Kalamazoo in 1955. Aside from her family and work, Dorothy enjoyed bowling, bingo, shuffle board and attending church. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother, Leonard. Dorothy is survived by her son, Andrew (Barbara) Bisig; four grandchildren, Laurie, Melissa, Brandie and Brandon; two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Landon; sister, JoAnne (Richard) Butler and several nieces and nephews. Cremation will take place. Dorothy's husband John was a veteran of WWII and because of his service they will be laid to rest together at Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan.
