Doris Schuring

Doris Ann Schuring, age 85, passed away December 25, 2019 at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Doris was born January 25, 1934, in Portage Township, Michigan the daughter of Tom and Jennie (TeBos) Schuring. She was a graduate of Portage High School. Doris was a longtime Portage resident, also resided in Richland, and enjoyed wintering in Florida for many years. Prior to her retirement she was employed for 36 years with The Upjohn Company, working in cash management. Doris was a Devote Christian and lived her life serving her Lord and Savior. She loved playing bridge, camping and traveling in both the United States and Overseas. She enjoyed entertaining and was an excellent cook, seamstress and was known to be a "helping hand to all". Doris was preceded in death by her parents Tom and Jennie Schuring and by her sister Janet Schuring. Surviving are many special family and friends. A Graveside Service to celebrate Doris' life will be held at 11:00am on Monday, December 30th at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South with Pastor Clayton Smith officiating.
