Doris (Pemberton) Zavalking

ZEVALKING (Pemberton) - Doris G. Zevalking, age 84, of Wyoming, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 15, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Garrett Zevalking and dearly loved granddaughter, Sara Zevalking. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Lynda (Ted) Bohley, Michael (Bonnie Robbert) Chesher, John Zevalking, and Kevin Zevalking; seven grand-children and five great grandchildren; sisters, Carol Fitz and Maggie Caillouette; and several nieces, nephews, and friends. Doris was an accomplished pianist and soloist whose love for music enriched her life and all those who were fortunate enough to know her. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Monday at the Cook Memorial Chapel, 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville, (East Building) with Rev. Everett Vander Horst officiating. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Monday one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Cecilia Music Society.
