Doris Murphy

Doris L. Murphy (Hensley) age 85, Kalamazoo MI passed at home Wednesday, February 18, 2020 She was born to William and Ada Hensley January 6, 1935 in Pocahontas, AR. She Married Donald E. Murphy January 28, 1953. They enjoyed 63 years together until his passing February 22, 2016. Doris is survived by three sons, Mike (Joy), Kevin (Sue), Dennis,; two sisters, Betty Tillman and Glenda (t.c.) Durbin,;sister in law, Ellen Lane,; brothers, Jim Hensley and Ron (Barb) Hensley,; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and special friend Judy Murphy along with dozens of nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are two sisters, Juanita Flanagan and Lavern Atherton,; one brother Russell Hensley,; two sister in laws Elva Mae Zulpo and Thelma Hightree. Doris was a wonderful cook and Christmas was always a special family time. She hosted her final Christmas in 2019 and was so happy. She will be so missed by all.
