Donald Rynbrand

Rynbrand, Donald W. Kalamazoo, MI Donald Wayne Rynbrand passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021, at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence. He was born January 28, 1925, in Kalamazoo, MI a son of Lawrence and Florence (Dutton) Rynbrand and had been a lifelong area resident. Donald ran the Rynbrand Fruit Farm from 1939 to 1966 when he began working for The Upjohn Company and retired in 1986. On August 12, 1949, Donald married the former Helen Merrell who preceded him in death on January 2, 2006. He was also preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Joyce Parker; and a son-in-law, Darrell Munson. Donald is survived by his children, Wayne (Sandra) Rynbrand, Donna (Jay) Waalkes and Larry (Phyllis) Rynbrand; grandchildren, Melissa, Serena, Kevin, Shannon, Mitchell, and Derek; many great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 2-4 & 6-8pm Wednesday June 30th at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 3926 S 9th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009, where services will be held 11am Thursday, July 1st. Interment will follow in Genessee Prairie Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.
