Diane Turner

Diane passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022 in Cape Coral, Florida. She was born July 28, 1939 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Summner and Anita (Galer) Sleep. 60 years ago Diane was saved and began her life of worshipping her Lord. She enjoyed attending church and had served as a deaconess, teacher and secretary for many years. Diane enjoyed taking care of her home and was also secretary at Hoard Chiropractic Clinic. Family was everything to Diane. She never missed any of her grandchildren's sporting events and loved taking family vacations. Diane was an avid Alabama Football fan and liked reading, shopping, especially for her grandchildren, going to the theater and celebrating Christmas and Easter with her family. In 1958 in Kalamazoo, she married Henry "Al" Turner who survives. Also surviving are her children, Michelle Link of Mattawan and Rob (Rachel) Turner of Illinois; 5 grandchildren, Nicole (Pat), Desiree (Jason), Jack, Faith and Selah and 2 great-granddaughters, Lily and Sophia. She was preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law, Al Link and siblings, Jack, Alice and Pat. Friends may visit with Diane's family starting at 10:00 A.M., Friday, March 4, 2022, at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego, until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Thaddeus Stout officiating. Private family burial will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Plainwell. Contributions in memory of Diane may be made to the YMCA Women's Shelter or the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission.
