Dennis Louis Piech

Dennis L. Piech age 84, of Racine entered into eternal life on Wednesday March 20 th , 2024. He was born on February 25, 1940, in Milwaukee, WI. to the late Casmir and Harriet (Nee: Kryszewski) Piech.

He was loved dearly and will be sadly missed by his son Brian; grandson Lorenzo; Lorenzo’s mom Aida; sister Cookie (Whitey) Diesch; brother Harry King (Kathy McCarthy) and special friends Joe & Gail Marshall. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Beverlee (Jack) Becker.

Dennis proudly served his country in the 82 nd airborne division of the United States Army stationed in Fort Bragg, NC. A natural leader with a strong and dedicated work ethic, Dennis worked as a Pile Driver, Forest Ranger, Millwright and eventual partner at Marshall Erecting which is where he retired.

An avid outdoorsman, Dennis enjoyed fishing, hunting and golf. He was a member of the Grant Park Men’s senior golf league where he will be remembered for his generosity and great sense of humor. He will be missed on the course by his mates, Cliff, Keith, Jim & Rick.

The family would like to express a sincere thank you to the team at the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Aurora St. Luke’s for their compassionate care of Dennis in his final days.

Entombment with Full Military Honors will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI. on Thursday April 18 th at 11:00 am. The address is 21731 Spring St.
