Dawn Buell

Buell, Dawn Delight Portage Passed away at her home on Tuesday, September 27, 2016. Age 66. Dawn was born in Moran, MI on September 18, 1950, the daughter of the late John and Fawn Spencer. She retired from the Kalamazoo Psychiatric Hospital after over twenty-five years of service. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, who loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing cards and loved her precious cats. Dawn is survived by her children, George (Danielle) Buell, Bobbi Buell, Melissa Buell and David Buell Jr.; two grandchildren, Callista and Sophie; one sister, Wilda (Doug) Henderson; her Aunt Sharon Painter; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her former husband, David Buell; and her brother, John Spencer Jr. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St., where friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service.
