David Van Hoeve

Van Hoeve, David 2/3/1936 - 1/8/2022 Kalamazoo Dave died peacefully January 8, 2022 at his Friendship Village apartment. He was born February 3, 1936 to the late Donald and Glenna (Handley) VanHoeve. He graduated from Albion College in 1958. Dave married his 5th grade sweetheart, Judy (Barnes). They were together over 70 years! Dave is survived by two daughters, Sharie (Tim) Kellner and Wendy (Steve) Kelley; grandchildren, Gregory (Kenna) Reznich, Lauren (Kevin) Borst, Christopher (Yingjia) Reznich, and Leah Kelley; great-grandchildren, Josephine, Jackson, Teddy and Noah; and brother, Charles (Helen) VanHoeve. Dave shared deep and continuing relationships with family, neighbors, friends from elementary school, high school, college, work, the Elks, Highland Woods (Florida) and of course, golf. Dave would want you to remember him in your own time, on your own terms, in the places that mean the most to you, whether on the golf course, at the family dinner table, at the bar or your favorite restaurant.
