David Truszkowski

Mr. David Truszkowski, aged 59, of Grand Rapids, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 5, 2008 with his family at his cottage in Irons the place he loved to be with family and friends. Surviving are his loving wife of 35 years, Linda S. Truszkowski (nee Versluis); his beloved children, Beth (Mike) Godfrey, Mindy (David) Quade, Tammy (Robert) Franzak, Debi Truszkowski, David A. Truszkowski; his precious grandchildren, Ava and Lilah Godfrey, Eric Truszkowski, Marissa Franzak; his brother, Jeff Truszkowski; sisters, Michelle (Mike) Murphy, Mary (Mike) Liquigli; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Florian and Dolores Truszkowski and brother, Jim Truszkowski. David received his bachelor degree from Western Michigan University. He coached in GRAHA Hockey for many years, was an avid sports fan who loved Notre Dame and truly enjoyed playing softball with the Cheeze Kurls Team. "Go Irish!" David retired from Steelcase as a senior engineer after 34 years of service. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday 10:00 a.m. at St. Isidore Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
